Griffin Mining Limited (“Griffin” or the “Company”) is saddened to announce the death of an employee of the mining contractor at the Caijiaying Mine (the “Mine”) in the evening of Friday 11th October 2024. An ore pass full of excavated paste buried the mining contractor’s loader and operator whilst he was excavating the material. The worker was immediately removed from the Mine and taken to Zhangbei Hospital but declared dead upon arrival.
